The main building is a former trading house with roots back to 1862. The building has been restored to its former glory with the assistance of among others the Directorate for Cultural Heritage. The café at Kulturverkstedet has become an institution in Mosjøen – an informal meeting place for people of all ages. Enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and something nice to accompany it. Only traditional food from Vefsn is served here.
Every Friday there is a free lunchtime concert featuring local performers, both amateurs and professionals.
